Cardian primarily serves companies – from large groups to SMEs – as well as their executives and shareholders. We also occasionally assist private individuals with complex estate or litigation matters.

The first exchange, lasting approximately 30 minutes, is free and non-binding. It allows us to understand your needs, to verify that there is no conflict of interest, and to tell you whether we are the right person to assist you. A letter of engagement specifying the terms and fees is then provided to you before any work begins.

Depending on the nature of the matter, we offer three options: a fixed fee for engagements with a clear scope (company formation, audit, standard negotiation), an hourly rate for evolving assignments (litigation, mergers and acquisitions), or capped success fees for certain disputes. Everything is formalized in writing before commencement.

Any request received by e-mail or via our form receives a response within 24 business hours. For urgent situations (seizure, hearing, administrative inspection), an associate lawyer can be reached within half a day.

The firm is based in Paris but our lawyers represent clients before all French courts and assist clients remotely via videoconference for the consultative phases. We also have international correspondents for cross-border cases.

Absolutely. All our exchanges are protected by the lawyer’s professional secrecy, which is absolute and binding on everyone, including public authorities and courts. Our technical infrastructures (encrypted messaging, secure client area) reinforce this confidentiality.
